What in the world is with the extreme, foaming at the mouth, hatred for Pickleball?

I’m fresh off the boat with pickleball and like so many before me I fell in love with it overnight. Like any other hobby I have, I started to watch online training videos and highlights to improve my game and scratch the itch when I was off the court. What has really stuck out to me is the blind HATRED for this sport. Top comments on YouTube videos of “dumbest sport ever” or “Sport for people who can’t play tennis”. I’m a big sports fan and have several “athletic” hobbies and have never seen anything like it. The thing that sticks out the most is that these people clearly have never even played it. What is going on with the hate?
