The rain season is coming up in my area and the only place I have near me is 1 hour away with no traffic, possibly 1.5 hours with traffic one way. Granted it's outdoor surface that is indoors. The membership costs $135/month. I was thinking that even if I could kind of afford it, the fact that I have to travel so far to even get to play pickleball means I cannot afford it time-wise.
By the way I am located in California so that's why the price is insane but currently my gym membership alone is $80 per month.
