Restore progress or account?

I started on my Android Phone. I paid for quite a bit. Installed the game today on my tablet assuming since I'm the same Google account, my info would be pulled from the cloud save. Nope, level 1 with nothing I've paid for? I've played to the 2nd map thinking maybe it needed a tutorial level or something done, but nope.
S22 to a A7 Tablet. When I start the game in either device it gives me the welcome back message from Google Games at the top, but the tablet won't synch progress or purchases.
