Here's the problem: I don't go out by myself unless I've arranged with at least one wing to go do pickup. I usually go to the second largest city in the state to approach, which takes me at least 1 hour and 30 minutes by train. There are many pleasant people to meet and a friendly atmosphere throughout the city, so the trip is worth it. Lately, I haven't been able to arrange anything with any wing (my regular wing had an accident, and finding new ones is challenging). I've prepared myself for the trip several times, and even got drunk last time to overcome it, but I still couldn't go through with it.

I have it fixed in my mind that going alone is unsociable and that people in the clubs will look at me strangely, and I can't create the impression that I'm there with someone. My main problem is that I think nothing will push me to communicate, approach, and so on.

So my question is: how can I overcome this and go out alone to pick up women? How do you do it when you go out alone?
