Post Body

For the longest time I had a Pixel 4XL, which I loved. Eventually I ended up suffering from the well known loose battery connection issue. Through insurance I got the 4a 5g, since the XL wasn't available anymore and it feels like such a, I don't know....side-grade. The only real perk that I like with the 4a 5g that I can think of, is the rear fingerprint scanner. I miss the wireless charging on my stand for the XL, the higher frame rate and the speakers seemed louder, but the face unlock I could take or leave.

I do some graphics heavy gaming and some game emulation, and the 4a slows down on some of them. I found a couple used 4XLs that I'd consider going back to, unless people have suggestions for something new. I'll be due for an upgrade within the next year, so I was looking at the Pixel 6 Pro, but I've seen such horror stories already about the new fingerprint scanner so just seeing if anyone has any other ideas. I'm partial to Pixel due to the lack of bloat that seems to come installed, least according to other articles I've read but I'd consider others if the right one is there. Thanks!

Edit: I'm in the US
