Looking to upgrade from S9

Hey everyone, I've been researching which phone to upgrade to for a few weeks now and figured I could use some help after stumbling upon this community. Some about me: I prefer the smaller phones (not a plus or ultra size as far as samsung is concerned). I have an s9 and have no issues with how it runs so anything similar would work for me, I would prefer a longer battery life though if possible. I'm willing to spend up to around $1000 and have been looking at the S21 but just found out about the S20FE and am not quite sure what the best one for me is between the S20, the S20FE or the S21. I also just found out about the new Pixel releasing soon so now I'm curious how that would fare in the competition.

My phone usage is usually just the camera, youtube, Instagram, reddit, PokemonGo every once in a while, and other random little apps that I don't think are too demanding. I'm looking for 128 storage because anything else feels a bit excessive for my use. My S9 is having screen issues where it will suddenly turn opaque or partially black out and I'm not overly fond of the finger scanner on the back but I would prefer the one integrated in the screen if possible. I'd prefer to get a new one soon due to the screen issues but if the Pixel or S22 could be worth it I may wait.

Thanks!
