Things I care about:
- Long battery life
- 3.5mm aux jack -- I hate the iPhone for removing this. Alternative headphone jacks are not a total deal breaker, but no physical connection for headphones at all is a complete deal breaker.
- Lots of storage, 128 gb minimum
- Works with Google Fi
That's about it. I have never owned an Android phone so I'm not sure how think about price range, especially because cameras seem to drive a lot of the price differences? I'm willing to pay a premium for a fast, long-lasting phone with a lot of storage, but I don't want to pay hundreds more just for a fancy camera that I'll rarely if ever use. (I don't think they make phones without cameras at all any more, but if that's wrong I should clarify that I do want some camera, I just don't care much about its quality.)
EDIT: I see that I should clarify that I am in the US
