I'm a (somewhat of a) power user, who happens to be broke and cheap. I'm still running a Galaxy S3 that I picked up a few years ago on eBay with a broken camera for a little over $100 when the going rate was around $400 (I think the S4 had just come out). It was fairly easy to replace the camera, then I rooted, installed CM, and have been happy with it ever since.
Now it's getting a bit too antiquated for me to keep the poor thing running so I'm looking to upgrade again in a similar manner if possible. Only problem is I'm not all that familiar with all the new phones on the market and was hoping you guys could give me some suggestions.
I'd like to stay under $200, must have removable battery & memory, and I'd like a good camera. I'm with T-Mobile, so it's either got to be on their network or readily switched. Beyond that, I don't particularly care too much about aesthetics or size; hardware specs & reliability would take priority. Obviously at this price range I'm looking at previous gen phones or current gen that need repairs (which I feel confident doing as long as no specialized tooling is required).
I was looking at the V20, but was wondering if there's anything else I should be considering.
Thanks!
