Finally ending my contract with Verizon so now I can upgrade. What do you guys recommend? I was thinking the S7, it seems to have good battery and a decent camera, two of the most important features to me. It also has space for an SD card, and since I already have one, I've now got tons of space. Plus, there's a good variety of cases out there already, another thing that's pretty important to me. And if all goes well, I might be able to find a way to get Verizon's BOGO deal to work, and upgrade a friend as well.
Definitely looking into the Nexus 6P. The LG G5 seems pretty interesting. Also looking at the HTC 10. I've been looking around, it seems like everyone loves the Nexus 6P. Why? What makes it so great?
What else should I be looking at?
Price: Doesn't really matter. As you can see, I'm looking at flagships, so whatever's best really. If it's on contract, I'll have this for at least two years, so it needs to last.
Carrier: Currently on Verizon, likely will be sticking with it.
Country: USA
Size Preference: Balance between large screen and size. Not as big as a note, but not iPhone SE tiny.
What will it be used for: Gaming? Streaming? Media? Yes.
Preferred brands: Samsung/HTC/LG/Nexus/Lenovo? I already have an S4, so I'm biased to Samsung, though I hate Touchwiz... (Why do they even put this crap on there...) Then again, I can live with it. Honestly, I'm open to whatever is best.
Other: Battery? NFC? Storage space? Lots of on board storage or upgradble it fine with me. I have a micro SD card already, so it'd be nice to continue using it. Good battery life and a good camera are essentials.
