Current flagships or wait for the next wave? (LG G3, S5 'Prime'?)

As the title suggests, I'm looking to get a new phone fairly soon which would be on a 24 month contract, I can't decide whether to get one now (probably the Galaxy S5 as I'm currently on a Galaxy S2 which is starting to get a bit 'past it'), or wait for the LG G3 announcement and potentially the 'S5 Prime' in June/July, but I don't know when these phones will actually be released - trying to avoid buyers remorse as much as possible!

Any thoughts from people that may be more "in the know" than I am? Thanks!
