Need help choosing between pixel 5/5a

Hello i want to get a pixel and the pixel 5/5a are in my price range i've used a pixel 3 a while back and it was great and i'm wanting help chosing which i should go for between the 5 and 5a. i've heard that the 5a has overheating/heating issues ? some sources say it's from taking 4k60 video which i will almost never do but some others say it does it from normal everyday use... but i will say aside from those things the 5a is very appealing
