I see quite a few people wanting Pibby for the crossover aspect but idk, I’m a bit indifferent to that aspect since I’m not even that invested in cartoons to begin with.

There are a lot of cartoons out there where its whole gimmick is cute characters in gory scenarios just for shock factor but what made Pibby kinda stand out to me is how the cute artstyle, the simple designs and the preschool characters feel so genuine, like the whole concept of a innocent preschool character developing and turning into a chainsaw wielding action heroine like Ash from the Evil Dead series is so cool. No shock humor, no mindless gore, no characters that are just sadistic monster or feel like unrelatable parodies, just regular characters from regular shows being forced into turning into badass heroes.
