Anyone figured out controls for sm64pc port with piboy

So longshot getting this figured out here but im going to try. I got the super mario 64 port up and running on the piboy no sweat (it runs pretty good on the pi4 for the record everyone). The problem is the controls, i either have to plug in a keyboard or a controller, i cant for the life of me get the piboy itself to control it. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be great!
