I’ll be brutally honest since you asked. No, it doesn’t look great (to me). But I’m going to explain the thinking I’d have if I were you and the thinking I have.
You’re journey has just started and your already shown you can have progress and achieve huge difficult, long-term goals (more than most for sure). This is a good predictor that you can have a lot more success and change.
As you put on muscle, you will fill out more and your skin will be less saggy.
After extreme weight loss, the skin will tighten up (somewhat) over time, especially if you’re younger. This is very gradual.
You have a LOT of options still to get where you want. I would find other people that have been on your journey and are further along. Follow them on social media, message them, hear their stories. This will motivate and inspire you.
You may need surgery for excess skin, and you may not.
You look FANTASTIC considering where I imagine you were before. Like actually amazing. Some people can’t lose 10 pounds and I’m not exaggerating. You have been on a huge battle to learn to love yourself and you’re winning! Lean into it. One day you will be where you want to be and happy. Then you’ll be able to help someone that’s where you are now and give them hope.❤️
PS. #4 is a super important point! Find your people with lived experience!! It’ll make every single part easier!
Well I’m guessing you’ve felt awful before and it seems you were strong enough to work through it! I trust you will again. You shouldn’t ask for honesty if you don’t want it.
Also have you seen this forum!? I would imagine the guys here (that are basically all body builders and super fit) feel as badly about themselves as you do. But regardless, what type of bodies do you think people generally find attractive on here? Really only the type I mentioned earlier in this paragraph. Don’t go to the “I hate red clothes” subreddit, post a picture wearing a red shirt and ask “tell me if you find my red shirt attractive”.
The thing about my comment is that a lot of it was very positive. The positive stuff was honest too ya know? But you seemed to ignore it.
You’ve done an amazing job, but I think you already knew your journey wasn’t over. Coming here was just a way to hear it from others. And guess what, no one’s journey is over, all the journeys look different, and they are all difficult to the people doing them!
So you’ve got this man! Keep consistent and find others in your community!
Your arms and shoulders look good! Chest will come along nice once it grows a bit of muscle! :)

Then this is less about your body and more about your mind. Go to therapy man. Loving yourself will never happen if you base your value on the opinions of others to the degree you are now.
