I apologize if this isn’t the place to ask, but I’m just wondering what would be good software for a beginner?

I’m sure my PC meets all the requirements to use top tier software. I’m just not sure which software to use. Currently, I’m using the free edition of GIMP, but it’s too complicated for me honestly.
