Lens Case as Crossbody bag ???

I work in film production (behind the scenes - in vanities) Iām not actually a photographer tho.
Iād like a small cross body case to keep my cell phone, wallet, keys, and my smaller weed/lighter satchel.
Iām thinking of using a Lens case similar to the ones shown. Does anyone have advice? Coolest brands? Most durable? Leather vs neoprene? Etc
