That's a lesser known one, but it seems quite widespread if you think about it. I have it and it gets worse when my general mental health suffers.
I think the pattern has something to do with fear of failure, effort put into making plans, which then fail, because one has so little control about the reality. Why make plans then? Better to live day to day. But then, on the flip side, I'm quite ambitious and strategic when it comes to specific tasks and making and following plans is necessary to achieve anything.
What are your thoughts? How to overcome it?
