I'm having good luck with Tacrolimus.

My derm prescribed it about a year ago. Urologist never suggested it. It seems to loosen the scar tissue without thinning the skin. I apply it once a week but I think I'm supposed to apply it more often (probably prescribed as a daily).
Tried betamethasone for a long time but found that it caused as many problems as it solved. Docs told me you shouldn't use it over the long term.
I have the stretching kit, it's fine, but since I started with the tacro I haven't needed it.
