Can I put coconut oil underneath foreskin?

I’ve been told that I could possibly put coconut oil underneath my foreskin before stretching, and afterwards I would wash it out. Is this okay to do?
There reasoning made a lot of sense since my glans are also pretty dry too (supposedly coconut helps with better moisture and removal of smegma).
Is it okay to apply it, but wash it out afterwards since it won’t be sitting for probably more than 5-10 minutes? And would it be okay to do this 5x a week?
