Not an expat, yet? Sort of long term planning.
I have a nice life in the US and with my current trajectory, I could potentially retire in 5ish years at 45.
That all said, if I wanted to move permanently to the Philippines. Could I import my vehicle? Or is that something I would have to buy there? I understand it’s a left hand driving country, which is fine to me.
Saw the other guys post on getting his license and this got me wondering.
Thanks for y’all’s help.
I still have to figure out a lot of stuff. Like if setting up a corporation to purchase land and build a house is a possibility and all of that.
Edit: thanks for the responses y’all. Sounds like just buying a car in the Philippines is the smarter way to go. Sucks, but thems the breaks.
Appreciate everyone who chimed in with the advice. Thanks everyone.
