One of my friends originally came to Europe as an au pair, however she’s been having a very hard time, with employers who expect long and hard hours (she’s now working as a kind of nanny/cleaner role). Also due to the general cost of living meaning it’s not paying off financially, she’s really feeling homesick and said she badly wants to return home (after being away 5 years).
Just wondering what people here think about her decision to return home? Do you know anyone who made the same move and it worked out well?
