When i was younger i hated how we ran this country, I hated the idea that there are far more stupid people leading the country than the few good ones, but now growing a little older and wiser (i think) i am a little more optimistic, bakit while it is easy to fall of the cynicism of fall of this country, this country endures. because of people that are optimistic for change. sabi ko nga an inch progress is still progress. if everybody leaves then no one will be able to rescue this country anymore. I owe this country a lot and leaving just because it was hard seems very ungrateful for me (just for me ah, people often burn me for this sentiment) there were underpaid teacher who tirelessly taught me to be the person i am. good people who tirelessly carried me through not because its just their job but they really wanted to help.

I never wanted to be rich, di rin ako nangarap ng malaking pamilya. but i always hoped that someday and somehow when i escaped poverty( which i think naman we did) I would be able to pay it forward.
so for those people whose job is keeping this country together thank you very much, We may not see the country we hoped in our lifetimes but maybe our actions right now would contribute to the future this country wished for.

And for the people who leave this country may your god bless you on your journey. and i hope that someday when you return this country would be better than one you left. and please for sana yung iba naman na nanakaalis ng pinas eh dont spite this country. it is easy to brand this country for the extreme toxic people, but i dont think it is just that there are more people stupid it is just that, Stupid people are just louder.
