Pansin ko lang sobrang sikat ng anime dito kumpara sa ibang bansa. Instead of anime being a fringe branch of entertainment compared to that in western countries, here it seems readily accessible and acceptable regardless of age, social class or geographic distribution. Shounen animes like Naruto, DBZ, HunterxHunter, Yu Yu Hakusho are particularly popular.
Siguro dahil may Tagalog dub but is it also because anime thrived in the late 80s to late 90s which consequently was the end of Martial Law and a more liberal tv viewing? Share some thoughts.
