I have a very VERY religious ESP teacher and she always intimidates us so we can't really question her opinions. We wouldn't fight her about her opinions on LGBT, abortion, live-in, and especially creationism. I pointed out creationism because after my class' dismissal, I talked to my classmate if they really believe on creationism. I was astonished to find out that 90% of my classmate do believe on creationism. Given that I do study in a catholic school, I was still surprised because I thought it was already common knowledge that the evolution theory is already proven and I study in a well-known catholic school. When I went home, I also told my family and neighbors about it and found out that they also believe in creationism. I just realized that even in the Philippine media, creationism is still the one that is being promoted. Is it just my surroundings, or is the evolution theory is poorly taught? When I asked my science teacher if she believe on evolution theory she didn't answer.
