Mother ko kakamessage lang sakin (6:50pm, Aug 9, 2024) about a driver that has their car wiggling daw while moving. My mother was concerned daw but the driver brushed it off like it was nothing. They are currently inside the car right now (6:59pm) at the SLEX skyway. We secretly video called and ang likot nga ng camera, so ang wiggly ng sasakyan. I managed to take screen video of it for proof.
Ang malala pa dun is yung modus ng ibang driver na ipacancel daw yung booking habang nasa car na yung client para makuha daw ng driver yung bayad. My mother disagreed to it. May kasama naman mother ko na taohan na work (construction) so I know she and my dad will be safe. But what if mangayari ito sa susunod na sila lang ng tatay ko (na recently lang kakaopera sa puso) or ako lang mag-isa or mga kapatid ko. I am afraid din for other people's safety if these drivers continue to be on the road and continue this modus.
Grab needs to do something about this loophole kasi gets ko naman kung bakit nila ginagawa ito and I support any drivers who are not being compensated well for their services, but compromising the safety of passengers, especially my mother, father, and their workers, tapos ang kapal pa ng mukha para gawin yung modus na yan.
I will report this to Grab later pag-uwi nila. Please, if you are a Grab driver and do this, there are other ways to fight the system, do not compromise your passenger's safety.
