Lol, so basically, a foreigner admitted that she paid a Filipino or used a corporation to buy land on her behalf. This is a blatant violation of the Constitution and law. Additionally, does this foreigner even have a valid visa? Even if she does, is she investing in the Philippines and creating jobs, or is she just an influencer exploiting the country's natural resources and culture for her own gain?
First of all, the Constitution prohibits foreigners from owning land in the Philippines—this is clear, except for corporations with at least 60% Filipino equity. Second, the Anti-Dummy Law penalizes foreigners who use dummies.
The government should take action against these foreigners.
