Been going back and forth on finally getting a PWD card.
The major reason stopping me is that (apparently daw) having your name registered as a PWD can stop you (or become a major issue) from obtaining a work visa/PR in countries such as Australia/NZ, US, UK, Singapore, Japan etc.
I can imagine those with muscoskeletal challenges would experience difficulty, but is this hearsay massively overstated? Are there real Filipino/OFWs who couldn’t work abroad or settle down because they got a PWD for their eyesight/ADHD/dyslexia/autism?
