Post Body

In a thread here, I learned why Fil-Chis are good in businesses. It's because historically during the Spanish era, they were not allowed to be employed and work in haciendas unlike Filipinos. That leaves them with no choice but to become merchants and tradesmen. Nagstem na rin don yung preference nila to other Chinese over other nationalities when doing business, which strengthens their community.

Also, sa Jews naman, I learned that they were not allowed to own land so they end up being merchants as well, which made them rich (think of Rothschilds).

How about sa Filipino crab mentality? Meron bang historical context bakit prevalent siya among Filipinos?
