Hi, this is something that has been on my mind for a while and I promise you this is not a prank question or a gag. I was just wondering how farting loudly in front of friends, family or even strangers is viewed among Filipinos in general. I'm asking because over the years I heard and read plenty of stories of some Filipinos especially Filipinas openly farting in front of friends but also complete strangers with no shame whatsoever which is something I find quite interesting to say the least. What do you think and how do you view this? Is farting something you do openly amongst your friends, family but also strangers? Would you say passing gas is more acceptable in your culture/society than in other cultures and societies? Thanks in advance!
