This is another of those ... is it me or is ... kind of posts. I just want to vent my thoughts for a bit ngayon nasa LU ako with my partner's friends and all. Hindi ko masyado napuntahan eto noon nag Vigan kami, so ngayon ko lang na experience ang "beach" ng ELYU and eto ang impression ko. BTW nasa San Juan ako.

• Wala pang below 40 ang mga tao dito. Aesthetic ang motif. Para talagang nasa Makati or BGC in "summer mode" ang mga tao. 😂
• Gentrified ang lugar. Actually walang "ELYU" culture akong makita wile walking on the streets malapit sa place ng accomodation namin, also the restaurants. Parang extension lang ng Makati, or BGC. Puro foreign foods na over priced at pretentious. Nothing is local, nothing is unique that tells na "nasa ELYU" ka at eto ang food na makakain mo ng masrap dito.
• May Starbucks sa bayan, so it kinda explains why the place has lost it's identity kung big corpo already sees the demand equates to the kind of audiene goes there.

Sabi ng partner ko, ginagawa daw Siaragao ang theme ng area. Not been to that place either, pero i guess ganon? Wala lang. sorry for the rant. As a person that prefers culture, history over aesthetics and party. This kind of environment and the direction na patungo sa mga toursity areas is just sad.
