My friends and I went to this wake in Manila. Namatay kase yung aunt ng isang friend namin and medyo close namin yung aunt na yun if ever mag vivisit kami sa house nila, yung aunt yung kachikahan namin. The last time we went to their place was 2018. Last month lang namin nalaman what happened to tita. So we went there to visit and show our respect to our friend and his family.

We're talking about our good and fun memories with tita together with our friends family and relatives. Each and every one has their own story with tita and shared it to the group. All of us are laughing until this one relative of our friend told us na not to laugh that much kase raw nasa patay kami. We should be grieving and all. Nagkatinginan kami ng mga friends ko and apologized to them,

Second was one of the guests accidentally spilled his coffee on the floor and asked if there's a mop available so he can clean the spilled coffee. Then this particular relative mentioned that bawal daw mag mop sa lamay. She explained why pero I was not able to hear the deets. Medyo naweirdohan lang ako kase someone might step on that spilled coffee on the floor and might slipped and an accident might happen. After an hour, I did not see the spilled coffee na. Someone might have cleaned it already.

We decided to leave na since marami nang visitors sa place nila. Then this aunt told us na mag pagpag para hindi kami sundan ng spirit and all. I was wondering who's spirit ba? Kay tita? If not, why would other spirits be present dun sa wake niya and bakit kami susundan? for what reason? like hindi lang naman kami ang tao dun sa wake na yun.

So dinedma ko nalang and we went to this convenient store na malapit sa kanila and we joked around na baka maraming spirits narin dito na naligaw. In fairness kase kumikita naman yung store so baka good spirits yung mga andun. We were laughing hard and all. Then, medyo nagutom kami so we decided na to go sa isang fast food resto. Well, pangalawang establishment na yun so baka naman sundan pa ako nun.

Then while nasa jeep na kam on our way to EDSA, our friend called us and told us na to wash our clothes pag dating agad sa house because of the malas and all. Sobrang naweirdohan na ako and I asked totoo ba tong mga to? A friend told me na "wala naman masamang maniwala or sundin."

So nasa bahay na ako and followed my friends advice. After washing the clothes and shower, I made some research about pinoy pamahiin and all. I was wondering if meron din bang ganito sa ibang bansa or dito lang sa country natin. Medyo weird lang talaga.
