Is it just me or is Kalaya overrated? Any other Thai recs?

my anticipation for Kalaya, fueled by a year’s worth of glowing reviews, was met with disappointment. The evening I envisioned, filled with the vibrant, carefully balanced flavors of Thai cuisine, fell short as the prawns and other dishes were overcooked and lacked the authenticity and quality I had eagerly expected. While the ambiance promised a culinary journey, the reality was a reminder that not all experiences live up to their hype. Despite this, my search for the perfect Thai restaurant continues
