So today me and my friends had a game where we had 2 evidents and we got it down to: raiju, thaye, yokai and banshee.

Now the map was sunny meadows and the ghost spawned at the enterance so I did a yokai test in the room left of the enterance and the ghost did not come after me at all. But the ghost footsteps were quick so I thought that its probably a raiju since we have electronics everywhere. So I got 2 more hunts and in both times the ghost did not come into the room despite my flash light being on and so I just left and guessed Raiju which turned out to be correct.

Is there a possible reason that a Raiju ignores my flashlight, or am I missing something?
