I see lots of people venting (justifiably so) about working retail and eventually I would like to leave it to go to a hospital pharmacy but I love my job right now.
I work in a relatively small (medium sized at best) grocery store pharmacy so I know I am lucky not to be working at the main pharmacies. I was super excited to become a tech and then got on this sub to see everyone saying it was awful and not to do it. Do it! You’ll never know until you try.
It’s definitely best to be aware about common problems in a workplace, staffing issues, pay, patients, but there are also benefits and if you have a good staff and PIC then you’ll be set. I just don’t want too many people scared away from the job because of posts on here :)
Edit: I forgot you can’t make a good faith post on Reddit lol please disregard if you’re planning on leaving a bitter comment :) will leave up for anyone who wants hope for the job
