There is a 50% chance I might be presented with the role of lead technician in the coming months at my pharmacy. I work for the big three letter company and it's stressful enough as it is with how understaffed we are and how few hours we are provided for those we do have. I am debating whether or not it would be worth it to accept the "promotion" based on how much they may be willing to find in the budget for me as a pay increase.
My RXM said it would be a dollar more than where I am currently at, which feels minuscule in comparison to the responsibility I would be taking on and for the few "extra" hours I would receive due to hour cuts.
I want to make an informed decision before accepting or rejecting the position, should the offer be presented to me. Any information is appreciated.
