Expiration Dates on Pharmacy Labels vs. Manufacturer Bottles - Which is Accurate?

Post Body

I've noticed that some pill bottles from the pharmacy have an expiration date on their label that has already passed. However, when I peel off the pharmacy label, the expiration date printed on the original manufacturer's bottle says it expires in 2025. Does this mean the medication is still effective until the date on the manufacturer's bottle? Can someone clarify how these expiration dates work?
