For the past few months, I've been trying to find community and meaningful connections. I've tried hiking, freediving, going to the gym, going to parties, etc. I enjoy these activities, but it seems it's really difficult for me to interact with others since it's usually in big groups. I'm trying my luck out here.
Things about me:
- I'm gay with a partner in an open, long-distance and serious (marriage-level) relationship. So I'm not looking for anything romantically serious. Someone also LGBT-friendly required. I also prefer LGBT-safe spaces, I dislike "masc" spaces
- My personality's more introverted so I found I interact best in one-on-one settings or in small groups of 3-5. I don't mind going to crowds or bigger groups though but yeah, as I wrote, I don't usually find meaningful connections there.
- I'm beginner fit? I gym 2-3 times a week and I'm generally open to fitness activities (nothing too intense though!!)
- I have clinical depression and anxiety and experiencing post-traumatic stress, so someone sensitive to Mental Health would be appreciated. Though I've been able to manage it well with therapy and meds. I won't trauma dump on you and I'm very self-aware and will respect your boundaries. (I'm hoping you'd also do the same).
Some activities I thought we could do: go to the movies, have lunch/ dinner, fitness activities, go to museums, community events, go ukay ukay, go to parks (UP? QC circle?) etc...
