What do you say or do/How to console someone going through something difficult (loss, in a bad place, just overall being down)? Not good with words but I know "ok lang yan" or "it's gonna be fine" or "nandito lang kami" sometimes don't suffice. And since I can't find the words, I usually end up being quiet, just sitting silently with the person, which I think isn't very helpful?
Just curious on what u personally find effective. TYIA.
