I don't want to post in other subreddits because most are just looking for hookups so I decided to post here instead. One last time. I've given up on dating already but I like to give it one more chance. I value the connections that I have so I keep my circle small. It's hard to find genuine ones nowadays and even if you do, for some reason, they have a way to hurt you. Like they have taken something from you that you cannot get back. But it is what it is right, that's life. You live and you learn. The challenge is to not allow your past experience to make you bitter but better.

I just want to be able to meet someone who's close to my wavelength. Kind, emotionally and socially intelligent, down-to-earth, mature, appreciative, has a growth mindset, offers something of value and makes me a better man, and has a true relationship with God through Christ. She's preserving herself for the right relationship and she knows when she has met the right person. Someone not hiding the things of her past but is open about it. Someone willing to understand who I am and really connect on an intimate level.

I'm a simple person and I enjoy simple things but my love is not simple that's why I try to wait patiently for the right person. I like a love that is calm, deep, and real. And I won't ever settle for less than what I know I deserve. When it comes to interests, I have a lot which you can find out for yourself. I'm easy to get along with as long you give me a safe space to be myself. And If you treat me right, you'll get the best of me. But if you break my trust, it would be hard to take that back. If you are done fooling around, I guess this is the post for you. It might be a wrong idea to do this but life is too short to not try one more time. I just hope third time is a charm.
