Resume Advice: how to explain the awkward work / time after you formally graduate but continue to work on projects without a proper title?

Pretty straight forward question. I'm not officially a postdoc in the lab but I've graduated. I'm helping out some of the new students and finishing up minor projects/publications. Do I say I'm volunteering? New title as Postdoc (even though its untrue)? I'm not sure how to explain this on a resume.
