A senior editor of a journal goes to Twitter to tell everyone how stupid the Authors are for making an alleged error (he thought the authors mixed up Uruguay and Paraguay but it turns out they were referring to river basins, not the countries), and seems to accuse academics from the global north of mistaking South American countries often (the authors are not from the global north). Indeed, this contributes to a toxic culture and I'm glad he was called out for it.
