P1 and P13 Mistakes

Two things;
- In Petscop 1 after capturing Amber, he leaves the right gate open but after inputting the code in Roneth's room he re-enters Amber's room but the right gate is shut. I thought that gate has to be open for Paul to enter the right side of the Quitter's Room? Mistake?
- In Petscop 13, Paul captures Roneth with the bucket then captures Amber to get the all pets captured but he didn't capture Wavey as he would need the bucket to do so which disappears along with Roneth. Mistake?
A side note, how comes the earth under Wavey/Randice room continues down off the screen but only for a portion of the earth on screen? Does this indicate something is buried under there perhaps?
