My cat has been missing since August. She just came back to me and I am beyond joyed. I had written her off as dead weeks and weeks ago. She is skin and bone and I am worried she was on the ass end of starvation. I am limiting her to small amounts of food at a time, since I know people and animals will gorge themselves and then make themselves sick when starving.

I do not have money at the moment, but I have a check coming soon and I am taking her to a vet that day. But what should I be doing to take care of her? Anything else that I am missing?

-edit- Sorry guys she fell asleep in my lap so I didn't come back last night. Thank you for the advice. I will see if I can find some dietary supplement as well as assume she has parasites after being out for so long.
