We have a small rug in our bedroom, which I love. Can someone please convince me that my cat is not purposely being an asshole by throwing up ONLY on this rug? Every cat I've ever had has loved to puke [specifically] on carpet, and I'd love to know if there is some physiological reason behind this behavior. Moreover, is there some way to encourage cats to puke, if necessary, on hardwood? For reference, we do not change any of our cats' diets, per se, though we do rotate their proteins as is recommended by our nutritionist. They eat Blue Buffalo dry food mixed in with rotating Weruva wet food entrees.
