Hello all. I have a dog that I adopted about 2 years ago named Molly, and she has a history of getting panic attacks and anxiety. Usually, when that happens, she starts running all around the house, but will NOT go in the backyard. What I normally do is take for a walk and this snaps her out of it, but it didn’t work this time.
I tried looking around to see what freaked out and there was a thorny branch sticking through the fence of our neighbor’s backyard, and it was right in the area where she was most afraid of, but when I carried her and walked her around the yard, she still didn’t wanna go in the backyard (again, doing that also snaps her out of it).
I don’t know what to do, I don’t have the time to walk her every day, or the money to get a dog walker everyday, because the backyard is where she poops. Is there anyway to get her to not be afraid of the backyard anymore?
TL;DR: Dog got a panic attack a few days ago, and ever since hasn’t gone in the backyard. What do
