Hey fellow redditors, I've been searching around the internet for a dog carrier backpack for a dog that is typically not portable sized. The closest thing to what I'm looking for is the K9 Sport Sack air but it doesn't specify in the description how sturdy the part that makes contact with my back is. For example, I'd like to find something that maybe has a contouring frame like the military style ruck sacks. Also, I'm aiming to get a forward facing one because my dog is old and blind and I imagine he would be less squirmy and less stressed if he can rest his front legs on my shoulders. It wouldn't be used to travel long distances, just for occasions like getting off and on a boat that may not be docked.
Does anybody that owns a K9 Sport Sack describe how much padding the back of it has? Thank you!
