Bringing my cat up to my apt where my roommate already has a cat, would like help introducing them

Post Body

My cat has been at home with my parents for the past few months while I went through some transitions in my living arrangements. She's about two and a half years old now. When me and my roommates moved into our new apt about a month ago, they brought their cat, a 7 month old male.

I'm going to be bringing my cat to the new apt when I go home for Thanksgiving next week and I was looking for any advice on how to make the transition and meeting her new housemate as easy as possible. She is already very familiar with my roommates, and has never had an issue with moving around to new homes (I've moved at least three times since I've had her) however she's never been in a house with another cat and I want to make sure the transition is as painless as possible for everyone involved and hopefully foster as much tolerance for each other as possible.
