Stray cat vs. indoor/outdoor cat - what is the difference?
Post Body

So a stranger recently gave us a cat that we don't know much about. So far all we have done is feed him and provide him with basic shelter. We were told he is a stray, but he really doesn't roam around that much. He spends most of his time sitting on our patio.

How can I tell if he's actually a stray or if this was someone's (indoor/outdoor) pet cat? He definitely has outdoors experience, but does he want to come inside too?
