Hi all! I sadly had to say goodbye to my 17yo dog just over two weeks ago. We'd been seeing the same vet for the past three years since moving to our current town, and they just did such an amazing job these past few months when he began experiencing health issues. And more than just that, they helped make our final moments with our boy so peaceful.
I was considering sending a thank you card or email just expressing my gratitude for everything they did for us and our dog. But, would that be weird to do?
Edit: Thank you for all of the responses! I will definitely be sending a card, and I'll be including a picture of my boy. Everyone at his vet treated him so well, and I just feel like I'll never be able to truly thank them enough for how easy they made saying goodbye and how peaceful of experience they made it.
that would be such a sweet thing to do! sending hugs for you🤍
