Post Body

So my father recently moved to Vegas. And my brother and I are visiting him and about two weeks ago we adopted a dog. Because my brothers and I (I came out with one brother and the other one couldn’t make it) are going to move out to Vegas but not for a couple months. And my father wanted a dog to keep him company.

So we adopted a pit bull from a no kill shelter. They said it would be ok if we were too bring her back it would be no problem because if she didn’t fit with us it’s ok and hopefully she would go to someone who she fits with. And it’s better to bring her back to the no kill shelter then to leave her on the streets. Well we gave her back today because she was too aggressive. Every time we took her for a walk and seen a dog or cat she would be on defense and would want to attack the animals.

She didn’t attack any animals but she was always on defense and she was always pulling so dam hard on the lease that she would most likely run off and god forbid attack another animal. And today while waiting in the car and my father went in by himself she kept barking and crying at the other dogs. So defensive. My point of this post is that I feel bad for giving her back. And yes you may say why do you feel bad if she was so defensive? Or why don’t you get her train to stop being aggressive? Because my brother and I are leaving soon and my father is going to be working and no one will be home when she’s home. And if training does happen to work it could take a long time to make her stop being aggressive. I just feel bad. What are you guys thoughts? I’m just venting.
